Erin Jacopec
Born in Raleigh, NC
Lives & works in Richmond, VA
Richmond became my home at age 18 when I moved here from North Carolina. Currently, I live with my husband Geo, our son, our three cats, two guinea pigs, one bearded dragon, and one dog.
Photography and art became my passion around 2011, though I have always enjoyed both my entire life. My drawing style is Zentangle Inspired and my photography style is my own.

Recently, one of my photos was chosen as a Judge's choice in a local photography contest, where I received high accolades from the director of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts when he called the photograph I entered a "masterful photograph" .
I have been published in Guinea Pig Magazine for my drawings of guinea pigs, and I have sold many of my drawings all around the world.

Erin J. won the "Artist's Pick."

The featured artist, Alex Nyerges, director of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts chose this photo because, "The composition was very strong: the dynamic vertical elements of the angel were complemented by the tree and the obelisk in the background; the drama of the stark shadows, strong contrast and deep, penetrating blacks helped to strengthen its overall power. A masterful photograph.
